Sunday Worship

Plan Your Visit!

What Should I Expect?

What is the Worship/Preaching Style?

Our Sunday morning worship service meets each week at 10:30 a.m. in our Life Center. You may enter through the doors under the canopy, or if you are dropping off children for our kids programs, you may find it more convenient to enter at the Kids Zone near the south end of the building.
The purpose of our worship service is to inspire both Christians and non-Christians to, recognize God's presence, celebrate His grace, worship His greatness, listen to His voice, respond to His Word, and experience His love. We do this through an exciting time of worship that utilizes a blend of music styles to help us praise and worship God. You will be touched by inspiring messages from the Bible that speak to your needs today. Occasionally, testimonies, drama, video clips, or other visuals are utilized to reinforce the message in a powerful way.

Communion

Giving

We practice the weekly observance of the Lord's Supper, just as the Church in the New Testament did. The Lord invites all Christians to partake of the emblems in remembrance of Him, whether members of this congregation or not.
Our service also gives those present an opportunity to worship God through giving offerings to support the ministry of UCC, local ministries,  and missionaries around the world. While everyone is welcome to participate in this aspect of our worship time, we want no one to give out of a sense of obligation.

Kid's Programming

What Should I Wear?

A safe, clean, and well staffed nursery is provided for your little ones between birth and two years of age. Wee Worship (3-PreK) and Power Station (K - 5th grade) are also offered each week. A Kid-Check system is used to check in the children for safety and security, allowing you to worship in the adult service with confidence and peace of mind.
That's up to you. You'll find some folks in jeans, some dressed casually in khakis, and others wearing dresses or suits. At University Christian, we are more concerned that you are here than with what you wear. We make every effort to welcome and be friendly to our guests, but rest assured, we will not single you out or embarrass you in any way.
